Successes at the InnoWings Invention Exhibition! 

Gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as two "Excellent Award" distinctions, for the WIiTCh and ICCE CUT teams at the InnoWings invention trade fair! 

The invention "Polymer asphalts with recycled PET," developed by an interdisciplinary team comprising Tomasz M. Majka, Arkadiusz Rudawski, Artur Bukowczan, and Radosław Piech—along with students—won an Excellence Award in the Green Economy category. The invention was created as part of the TurboGrant project (grant no. DKN/00001/2025) awarded by the Ignacy Łukasiewicz ORLEN Foundation, titled "Development of a method for modifying asphalt mixtures using recycled materials."

Four other innovative solutions in the fields of cosmetology and biomaterials, presented by teams led by dr hab. inż. Katarzyna Bialik-Wąs, prof. PK, dr hab. inż. Magdalena Malinowska, prof. PK and dr hab. inż. Małgorzata Miastkowska, prof. PK won:

A gold medal was awarded to the invention titled "Fruit and vegetable biomass as a source of bio-based cross-linking agents for the production of gelatin hydrogels for medical and cosmetic applications."

A silver medal was awarded to "Lipid nanocarriers with a natural two-component active ingredient exhibiting antioxidant and chelating properties."

A bronze medal was awarded to a “cosmetic composition in the form of a biogel for topical application, containing a natural two-component active ingredient with antioxidant and chelating properties.”

Excellent Award for the invention "Cosmetic composition in the form of a biogel" 

containing lipid nanocarriers with a natural two-component active ingredient with antioxidant and chelating properties”.
