The first IC GOZ seminar is in the books!

On well-being, resources, and raw materials, i.e., the first IC-GOZ Seminar.

On November 28, 2025, nearly 100 people participated in a seminar hosted by the Interdisciplinary Center for Circular Economy at the Inter-faculty Educational and Research Center "Działownia." During the seminar, Prof. Dr. hab. Joanna Kulczycka, from the Department of Circular Economy at the Mineral Resources and Energy Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, as well as from the Faculty of Management at the AGH University of Science and Technology, presented a lecture entitled "Circular Economy: Challenges and Barriers."

In her presentation, Professor Kulczycka addressed issues related to resource efficiency, the concept of circular economy as an economic system, described and identified in, among others, the ISO 59004:2024 standard, as well as issues related to EU regulations and their impact on legislation in Poland. Currently, the European Commission is expected to adopt a comprehensive document on the circular economy entitled the Circular Economy Act.
