Cracow University of Technology Day, May 12, 2026 

From among the GOZ Center community, the Gold Medal for Long Service was awarded to mgr Dorotę Kołodziej. The Rector of the Cracow University of Technology, Prof. dr hab. inż. Andrzej Szarata presented the "Meritorious for the Cracow University of Technology" Medal to Dr inż. Dariusz Mierzwiński, Head of the IC GOZ teaching team, and the Gold Badge of the Cracow University of Technology to Dr hab. inż. Bożena Tyliszczak, prof. CUT 

The Honorary Badge of the Krakow University of Technology was awarded to  Mrs Dr hab. inż. Izabelę Czekaj, prof. CUT - Head of the scientific research team at ICCE, Dr hab. inż. Małgorzata Miastkowska, prof. CUT, Dr inż. Szymon Gądek, Dr Radosław Kycia and Dr inż. Maciej Michnej.

Rector Prof. dr. hab. inż. Andrzej Szarata , and Vice-Rector for Research Dr. hab. inż. Magdalena Niemczewska-Wójcik, prof. CUT congratulated these esteemed professors, who have distinguished themselves with outstanding scientific achievements and multifaceted accomplishments, on the 50th anniversary of their professional careers. Among the honorees was Prof. dr hab. inż. Jan Taler from the Department of Energy, Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering.

Letters of congratulation for outstanding research and research-teaching achievements were received by Dr inż. Katarzyna Mróz from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, from the Faculty of Materials Science and Physics Dr hab. inż. Kinga Korniejenko, prof. PK and Dr hab. inż. Michał Łach, prof. CUT, from the Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering Prof. dr hab. inż. Agnieszka Generowicz – Departmental coordinator of the Circular Economy and Prof. dr hab. inż. Jan Taler, from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology were distinguished Prof. dr hab. inż. Agnieszka Makara i Dr hab. inż. Maria Kurańska, prof. CUT.

The first-degree team award for preparing the e-course "Fluid Mechanics" was won by Dr. inż. Bartosz Kopiczak and his team from the Department of Thermal and Process Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
