The Rector of the Cracow University of Technology, Prof. Andrzej Szarata, has signed the "Pact for the Climate" agreement with the City of Kraków. As part of this agreement, events such as the "Great Ecology Lesson 2026" are being organized. This year, it will be a jubilee edition. 10. The Great Ecology Lesson, which is an annual, outdoor educational event for entire families, taking place in TAURON Arena Kraków. Choć dokładna data i hasło przewodnie 10. edycji nie zostały jeszcze w pełni ogłoszone, impreza tradycyjnie odbywa się we wrześniu na terenach zielonych wokół TAURON Areny Kraków (ul. Lema 7). Planujemy, jak co roku, wziąć udział w wydarzeniu, które przyciąga tysiące mieszkańców i zazwyczaj obejmuje:
- Educational stands and workshops run by municipal companies, departments of the Krakow City Hall and partners,
- Eco-friendly gifts: participants usually receive plants or gadgets for collecting the required number of stamps at the stands.
- An outdoor stage: performances by local artistic groups and recycling demonstrations,
- A learning zone for residents, where we will be able to showcase the scientific and educational achievements—as well as promotional activities—of our Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Centre and the individual faculties of the Cracow University of Technology.
